Griffin 400
Mobile Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS)
Rapid On-Site Analysis
The Griffin 400 is used for the identification of known or unknown chemical threats through the use of gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC/MS). GC/MS is the gold-standard in laboratory chemical analysis. The analytical components of the Griffin 400 have been mounted with wire rope isolators to provide resistance against shock and vibration, making it ideal for mobile applications where on-scene analysis is required. Weighing approximately 82 lbs, the Griffin 400 can be mounted and operated in moving vehicles, from unmanned aerial vehicles to humvees.
The Griffin 400 has an integrated split/splitless injector allowing for multiple types of sample injections via an optional or , as well as via standard liquid syringes and SPME fibers.
