Agentase™ HRK
Chemical Agent Detection Kit for Hospitals
Hospital Preparedness
Before now, there has not been a methodology to effectively screen patients or objects for trace levels contamination prior to providing them with access to a facility. The Agentase™ Hospital Readiness Kit (HRK) fills this void by providing hospital responders with the tools to detect the presence of harmful chemicals before they contaminate the hospital. The Agentase HRK also provides sensors for use following the decontamination effort to ensure efficiency of decontamination procedures. The Agentase HRK contains 180 sensors that detect the breadth of chemical warfare agents and toxic industrial chemicals including nerve (G and V series), blood, and blister agents, strong acids, bases, oxidizers and aldehydes as well as 40 training sensors and simulant for use in annual decontamination exercises.
Three Critical Steps to Minimize or Eliminate the Potential for Cross Contamination:
Chemical Detection
Use FLIR Agentase sensors to detect trace levels of chemical weapons and toxic industrial chemicals.
Decontamination
Utilize your current decontamination procedures to remove residual agents.
Post Decontamination Verification
Assess the efficiency of decontamination procedures using FLIR Agentase sensors before admitting patients into your facility.
Failure to effectively isolate your facility from contamination may result in afflicted care givers that can have a catastrophic cascading effect on the facility.
