ICx Technologies to Exhibit at IDEX
WASHINGTON (Feb. 5, 2009) - ICx Technologies (NASDAQ: ICXT), a developer of advanced sensor technologies for homeland security, force protection and commercial applications, announced today that its Systems and Detection business units will be exhibiting at the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX), to be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre in Abu Dhabi, UAE from Feb. 22-26.
IDEX is the largest security exhibition in the Middle East and North Africa, and it is officially supported by the UAE Government and coordinated with the UAE armed forces. The conference showcases systems, equipment and services for land, sea and air defense.
ICx Technologies will show the breadth of its product offerings, and simulations will be available at the ICx booth, number B02 in Hall 5.
ICx also announces today that it has secured space and will soon be opening an office in the Dubai Airport Free Zone. "We see great demand for our sensors and services in the Mid-East and are committed to this region," said Hans Kobler, CEO of ICx. "Having a local presence will allow us to be more responsive to our customers' needs."
