FLIR Awarded IDIQ Contract for Integrated Base Defense from PM-Force Protection Systems
Portland, OR (September 6, 2011) – FLIR Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: FLIR), announced today that the company has been awarded the Force Protection Omnibus contract through U.S. Army Product Manager, Force Protection Systems (PM-FPS). This five year, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract has a maximum award value of $997 million.
Under this contract, FLIR will provide best in class integrated systems, associated services, and products to support inside-the-wire and outside-the-wire integrated base defense operations. Work under this contract will primarily be performed out of the FLIR facilities in Alpharetta, GA, and Elkridge, MD.
