ICx Releases CohesionIF - Uniquely Flexible and Adaptable Sensor Integration Framework
CohesionIF allows integrators to reliably and seamlessly add a broad range of Advanced Security Sensors to Existing systems and Infrastructure
ICx Technologies, a developer of advanced technology solutions for global security markets, announced today the release and general availability of CohesionIF.
CohesionIF is an integration framework and supporting software tools designed to enable ICx’s customers and business partners to easily integrate advanced ICx sensors with an end user’s existing security and information technology systems and infrastructure.
"Our customers recognize the potential new and advanced sensors have to enhance their security," said ICx CEO Hans Kobler. "CohesionIF allows our customers to add those sensors and get the information they need within their existing systems and infrastructure. CohesionIF makes the integrators job easier and takes risk out of the equation."
CohesionIF will initially be delivered in two configurations: as a turnkey solution, and in a software and documentation package. The turnkey solution comes preloaded on a standard 19-inch rack-mountable server with a dual monitor to enable ease of use. The software and documentation solution can be loaded onto existing systems and system development environments.

In addition to the basic CohesionIF product, ICx Solutions Group offers a full line of both pre-packaged and a la carte professional engineering services to help ensure rapid, integrated deployment of CohesionIF.
CohesionIF's technology core is based on pure Microsoft .NET technology coupled with an N-tier architecture using a SQL 92-compliant data layer (without extensions) as well as ICx’s own advanced concept for sensor management and decision support in a set of domain specific applications known as Intelligent Management Suites (IMS). ICx will provide demonstrations of CohesionIF with a Biosensor ISM and additional details on the toolkit at the Security Industry’s premier conference and exhibition ASIS International in Las Vegas at their display in booth # 1413.
