Target Tracking and Object Recognition

TRaCS is an optional software package designed to provide ease of operation and data consolidation for radar operators. Used in conjunction with PSR server software, TRaCS combines and displays the movement of individual targets from multiple radar sources. Simply put, TRaCS software provides a means of viewing and tracking across the entire coverage area.

However, TRaCS software takes things one step further and enables additional usability by removing redundant tracks from overlapping radars. When multiple radars detect the same target, the TRaCS software automatically combines the data so that only a single target and its movement appear on the operator’s display. This capability eliminates clutter and provides more accurate situational awareness.

TRaCS software may be used in conjunction with the mid-range radar series, the LSR-5000 and the STS-1400D.
