Key Client Results

Caltrans District 6 

Acting as the prime contractor, ICx worked with Caltrans District 6 to develop and build a fog detection and warning system for a stretch of a major north-south highway in California’s central valley. Our staff did all of the design for the field equipment, designed and developed the software, developed the communications infrastructure, supervised the construction, and integrated the entire system.

Port Mann Highway 

As part of a design-build project for toll collection and ITS systems, ICx designed a sophisticated Intelligent Transportation System for the Port Mann Highway. The system includes over 100 radar devices, 70 CCTV cameras, and 8 LED changeable message signs. Data and images are transmitted to the TMC over a new fiber optic trunk line.

Sea to Sky Highway 

ICx is part of the design-build team for the Sea to Sky Highway in British Columbia. The ITS system, which is controlled by Cameleon software, includes dynamic message signs, video cameras, microwave-based vehicle detection, and license plate readers.
